"Camping Rovies" welcomes you to the beautiful village of Rovies in northern Evia island. The campsite has been operating since 1987, offering unique hospitality at its facilities, to thousands of campers from all over the world. The site is in full operation and ready to welcome you, from April to October.

Since the northern Evian Gulf is a “closed” sea, the water is wonderful even up until October, whereas other beaches in the Aegean Sea are often found not to be as calm and as peaceful as the sea in these areas.

The camp ground is situated at the foothill of Mount Telethrion where the great olive grove ends, in a beautiful, peaceful and tranquil area . It is surrounded by pine, plane and olive trees and rich flora that create an ideal environment for relaxing away the stress and noise of the city.

The campsite is designed in a rectangular shape and is situated parallel to the beach, which is an added advantage since the majority of the plots are situated 3 - 15 metres from the shore. We offer spacious and independent plots for tents and caravans, so that each camper will have his own space.

The plots are covered with rich flora, such as plane, pine, olive and mulberry trees, creating wonderful shady areas that offer protection from the heat and the sun even in the hottest days of August.

Visitors of the campsite will have the chance to enjoy many services and facilities, that will make their holidays here comfortable, enjoyable and stress free.

We operate a restaurant – cafe, offering a great variety of tasty home cooked meals, refreshments, coffees, sweets and drinks. Our campsite also operates a mini market, where you can find a selection of everyday items, such as snacks, personal hygiene products, cleaning products, and other essential items.

The Camp’s beautiful beach attracts visitors who, in search of special summertime moments near the sea, find what they were looking for when soaking up the sun, swimming in its crystal clear waters and just taking in the magnificent scenery. Within close distance from the campsite are many tranquil and isolated beaches, which offer you the chance to explore and get to know the area better.

The campsite's facilities include a playground and basket ball area for the enjoyment of our little friends, as well as for the adults. Instalments for electrical power and water supply are available for those who are travelling with a caravan and require the ability to connect. A medical centre also operates on our grounds, ready to deal with any accidents that may require medical attention.

At the camp ground various tournaments of chess, backgammon, biriba, and other games take place. We also cooperate with other tourist establishments in the area, so that any of our campers who may be interested in scuba diving, horse riding and excursions will be able to enjoy such activities. At the Camp’s reception area, you can find a selection of informative brochures describing the various attractions and events that take place in northern Evia.

A very important characteristic of "Camping Rovies" are the "quiet hours" which are why the camp’s entrance closes at 12.00 midnight for all cars. The campers who return to the campsite after these hours will have to park their cars at the designated and protected areas.
